High Priest; High Fashion

According to If My Talit Could Talk…?, the “tzitz” or “atara” on the talit (the decorative collar) resembles the crown of the High Priest of ancient Temple times.  Read the description in Exodus 28 of the clothing worn by the High Priest.  Draw a picture.  Look closely at a “dressed” Torah scroll (closed and covered), and compare the look of the Torah cover with the clothes of the High Priest.  What do you notice?  Why do we try to resemble the High Priest in our ritual objects?

Plan a Red Carpet Runway to display your own version of the High Priest’s High Fashion.
